'Roland' is a tribute to the great classical guitarist and composer Roland Dyens (1955-2016). We arranged several of his great works for our ensemble, using improvisation as a basis, as did he when he composed the original music. His music is filled with influences of Jazz, Brazilian music and French Chanson, but still has a clear classical core.
